SAO PAULO BID12
The BID’s first exhibition in Brazil opened its doors on April 16, 2013 in one of the most representative design museums in the country and the region, the Brazilian House Museum in São Paulo. Composed of works by design professionals who participated in editions BID08, BID10 and BID12, this exhibition has been curated by Giovanni Vannucchi and Ruth Klotzel, both members of the BID advisory committee for Brazil since the first biennial and for this retrospective exhibition proposed a selection of works from the three exhibitions held in Madrid.

IDB12 roaming in Zaragoza
Guayaquil, Ecuador presents the traveling exhibition composed of graphic design projects, textile and fashion, digital, product design, architecture and interior design, a summary of the highlights of the BID 2012 edition. The exhibition is composed of 100 sheets of large
format, which contains explanatory descriptions of each project with high quality photographs.

EL SALVADOR BID12
The Spanish Cultural Center in Guatemala (CCE/G) and the Faculty of Architecture of the University of San Carlos de Guatemala inaugurated the traveling exhibition BID12, III Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño, an exhibition of emerging design, innovation and future, on Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m. at the CCE/G.
A representative sample of the original exhibition was presented with a selection of 38 designs from Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

This is the second time that the itinerant BID arrived in Uruguay. In this edition, the selection criteria carried out by the admission committee and the international jury took into account concepts of sustainability, innovation, emotional quality, experimental challenge, environmental impact, understanding, coherence and social sensitivity.
